Go Back to News List On August 14th, Nexon released a new update for their popular MMORPG, MapleStory. This update adds a lot of new features, monsters, a new area to explore, and more. This patch will automatically be downloaded when you start the game.

The new area that is now available in MapleStory is Masteria. This new area has new maps, new gear, new monsters, and a new boss.

Along with the new area, MapleStory will also have two events going on, a Double Experience and a World Ranking event. Both of which ends in September.

In addition, Nexon added a couple of features to the game. One of the features is one that the game has needed for a while now due to it's 2D style and that is the Jump Down function. The game also now has more pet equipment, Master Monsters, face paintings, and a curse filter system.
