Neverness to Everness

Welcome to Hethereau, a city where humans live side by side with the supernatural, and individuals with special abilities known as “Espers” are tasked with dealing with anomalous threats. In Hotta Studio’s urban open-world action RPG, players take on the role of a special Esper, designated “Esper Zero,” who, in their role as the Appraiser at Eibon Antique Shop, helps hunt anomalies and deal with other problems in the city.

Neverness to Everness is a gacha game that blends some GTA/Saint Row-style play with team-based combat and supernatural mysteries. The game is set in a city filled with plenty to explore. Simply walking to the corner store could be filled with danger, with anomalous activity happening frequently and plenty of characters to interact with. As players explore, they’ll be able to interact with friends on a regular basis, developing bonds and earning rewards for doing so.

In addition to their job as the Appraiser, players can engage in other activities, including working at various shops to earn money for cars, apartments, and more. As their friendships develop, they can invite characters to their home, take them on rides in their car, or simply hang out and go on dates. Other activities include fishing and racing. Just don’t get caught breaking the law, or you will spend time in jail.

NTE also boasts multiplayer features. These include things like games of Mahjong at the local maid cafe. Or, if you’re looking for something more daring, how about a bank heist? It’s the kind of activity that demands friends.
