About Ikariam
Ikariam is a free-to-play browser based MMORTS with familiar gameplay, PvP multiplayer and civilian micromanagement
Ikariam features real-time progression, the game’s time flows whether you are online or offline, that offers a harrowing experience for many players as it can mean the difference between the success or loss of their city.
Set within a chain of Greek-inspired islands, Ikariam challenges players to manage their resources while forging their own city-state. Luckily, Ikariam also offers in-depth tutorials for many facets of the game, making learning each feature easy and intuitive.
Content is great, but Ikariam also shines through its colorful graphics and wonderful animations, making it stand out from other strategy MMOs in the current market.
But it isn’t just your own town you have to worry about in Ikariam. The island is populated with city-states belonging to other players, and it’s up to you whether or not you send the ambassadors to broker an alliance with them, or the army in order to plunder their own riches. However, the other players can do the same to you if you’re not careful.
Ikariam offers plenty of PvP scenarios that make the real time format engaging on a level rarely seen by other strategy MMOs.
