PUBG: BLINDSPOT

If you were thinking that PUBG: BLINDSPOT would be another battle-royale, you’re wrong. BLINDSPOT, a new 5v5 tactical shooter with a twist. Game matches take place in single-floor environments consisting of a collection of rooms that players will be fighting their way through. The twist is that everything is built around a top-down view that allows players to see a portion of the interior of the building from above.

To successfully navigate the area and defeat the opposing team, players need to coordinate with “shared vision combat”. As players can see into rooms next to them – or even a few rooms over, depending on the angle - they’ll need to know how to take advantage of this and keep an eye on the other team’s members sharing sightings with their team in real time. Of course, this works both ways, so players will have to learn how to take advantage of view angles to stay out of sight.

The game’s 5v5 format has players taking on specific roles in their group. There are several agents to choose from, each offering something different. So players should be able to find something that fits them best. Just be aware that fights happen at close-to-mid range, so sniping will have more to do with your ability to see around corners than targeting from a distance.
